Dollywood declared 2018 “the year of the family” and our Family Coaster was one of three large investments the park made that year. Located near the famous “Thunderhead” wooden coaster, the goal of installing our Family Coaster was to create an entry-level roller coaster experience for the park’s youngest visitors.
Dollywood themed the area beautifully with antique logging equipment. The coaster’s bright orange track popped out from the beautiful green foliage Dollywood is known for. In addition, our team of artists closely collaborated with the park’s design team to theme the Family Coaster just as Dollywood requested.
