Junior Coaster 400 at Adventureland Resort

Opzione didascalia

Adventureland wanted several things in their newest attraction. As we discussed the concept they requested:

  • Low minimum rider height requirement

  • Increase guest length of stay

  • Offer new experiences to the park

We provided them an Integrated Rides package that featured a Junior Coaster 400 and a Super Flumez water ride. Both of these attractions shared the same footprint and created a kinetic energy through the entire area.

The park chose a Viking theme and our team of artists designed a beautiful roller coaster train and log flume boat that did an immense amount of Nordic storytelling.

With a 90 cm (36 in) height requirement the Junior Coaster became one of the most popular family attractions at Adventureland. It fit a need in the park’s roller coaster line up and combined both attractions gave the park a huge boost in capacity.

“I love that the coaster has a low height requirement, but the train is accessible for a wide variety of riders. Someone tall like myself fits very comfortably. But someone only 36 inches tall can safely ride. It’s a very smooth coaster, and we’ve essentially had no mechanical downtime.”
